A Little Bit About Me
I have a deep passion for family life, parent education, nature, creative arts, Waldorf Education, building community and homeschooling. I have had the joy of dedicating many loving years to my own family in the early years and now continue this joyful focus with my now older and grown children and my sweet husband.
I bring an expertise in Waldorf education, natural parenting, storytelling, creative arts and homeschooling, which I have studied and joyfully embraced through my own family life and as a teacher.
My journey as a teacher extends over 30 years, where I have taught in a variety of schools in the public and private systems as well as helped found and taught at the Waldorf school here in Edmonton, Alberta Canada for many years. Additionally, alongside my husband, I have homeschooled our own children and am currently still homeschooling our youngest. I have also had the wonderful pleasure of being a homeschool facilitator for many years.
In my own personal parenting journey, I have had to learn some deep lessons in self-care while caring for my young family and dealing with my own sweet mama who was dying with dementia. It is this walk that I also share with you. My walk of joy, insights, moving through struggles, finding peace, help, hopeful wisdom, balance and creative renewal and above all learning how to be graceful with myself and my family. A ripple of beautiful grace beginning with myself; then, rippling out into my world.
Now I invite you to have your turn. A ripple of grace for you and your family. A ripple of grace that begins with you.
